eXtraSlim! The S770 measures less than 2 cm thick, yet Casio manages to fit a 3x zoom into it.
It's a very simple camera, targeting customers who are not very concerned about settings and for whom only a decent result matters. Therefore, there are only "Scene" programs. The rear screen, which serves as a viewfinder, is large and enhances the views. The lens is decent. While it's not stabilized, the camera automatically increases sensitivity to 800 ISO when detecting a risk of motion blur. At this sensitivity, the quality of the result is degraded. Noise is actually present even at 200 ISO.
The video mode does not disable the zoom. Videos can be recorded in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios.
